Styx Intelligence is excited to welcome Brad Ball as the company’s first Chief Revenue Officer.
Brad joins Styx at an important moment for the business. As more organizations look for better ways to protect their brands, executives, and customers from external cyber threats, Styx continues to grow its global presence and expand the reach of its platform.
“Styx has reached a point where the opportunity ahead is clear, and we need the right leadership to help us scale well,” said Karim Ladha, CEO of Styx Intelligence. “Brad brings deep cybersecurity experience, a strong track record of building revenue teams, and the kind of leadership that helps teams do great work together.”
Supporting Styx’s next stage of growth
As CRO, Brad will lead the teams and programs that support the full revenue journey across the company. That includes sales, customer success, marketing, and partnerships.
His focus will include:
The goal is to help more organizations find, adopt, and get value from Styx’s technology as external threats continue to grow.
A strong fit for where Styx is headed
Brad brings more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity sales, go-to-market strategy, and channel growth.
Most recently, he spent seven years at BackBox Software, where he helped scale the company from $2 million in annual revenue to a $32 million exit. Before that, he held leadership roles at FireMon, Check Point Software, Nokia Security, and Vcura Incorporated.
But experience is only part of the story.
Brad has known the Styx founding team for more than 20 years. That long-standing relationship, built on trust and shared values, played a big part in his decision to join.
“When I looked at what Styx has built, I saw a company solving a critical problem that organizations urgently need help with,” said Brad Ball, CRO of Styx Intelligence. “The team, the culture, and the momentum made this an easy decision. I’m excited to help build what comes next.”
Building for the long term
Brad’s appointment reflects where Styx is today and where the company is headed next.
As the market for external digital risk protection continues to grow, Styx is investing in the people and leadership needed to scale in the right way, with strong customer relationships, a clear go-to-market strategy, and a team built to support global growth.
“The best revenue teams are built on trust, empathy, and shared purpose,” said Brad. “That’s one of the things that stood out to me about Styx from the start, and it’s a big part of what I want to help build here.”
